Rory van der Merwe

Rory van der Merwe is the author of the Hope-Fuel Framework. He is a multi-talented professional who seamlessly integrates his skills as a psychologist, coach, project and change manager to translate strategic goals into practical, real-world outcomes. His unique blend of abilities allows him to align the efforts of individuals, teams, and organisations resulting in improved business performance. 

Rory's work experience models adaptability-in-action and includes managing large-scale change  initiatives and projects, across multiple industries in both public and private sector. As a “working psychologist” he thrives on co-creating

enabling and empowering work-spaces for enhanced wellbeing of all staff. His career journey demonstrates adaptability as a critical capacity for the unfolding new ways of working in our relentless world of turbulent and accelerated change.

Describing himself as a HOPER, Rory has embraced curiosity and continuous lifelong learning. He is the first African accredited in Adaptability Intelligence (AQ) and the metrics, assessment and coaching for individuals and teams to improve sustainable business performance.
